Developers are waiting to tear down this apartment building in order to put up a new condo complex, but long time resident Ms Wu refuses to budge, demanding an apartment of the same size as her existing one in the new complex . They have refused, offering her instead a sum of money. I wonder how long she can hold out. It is somehow reminiscent of Batteries Not Included, the schmaltzy Spielberg film about aging residents in a similar situation.

In Japan, while all other age groups, including people in their 50s and 60s, seem to be surfing the web more and more in the past 6 years, look at the DOWN-ward slope of who we would assume use the internet the most! Line in red shows the dropping rate of people in their 20s going online at home. just as many 50 year olds are taking advantage of the WWW as there are 20 year olds! who's not keeping up with tech today?
